A. RENÉE CALLAHAN
Renée Callahan represents and advises clients on federal and state regulatory issues affecting information and telecommunications service providers. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Callahan was associated with the law firm of Willkie, Farr & Gallagher, where she represented clients on a variety of issues before the FCC, including mergers, local competition, special access provisioning, and Bell Operating Company entry into long distance. In addition, Ms. Callahan represented clients in litigation arising from the Telecommunications Act of 1996.
Ms. Callahan is a graduate of Harvard University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude (1988). She received her law degree summa cum laude from American University, Washington College of Law (1995). After graduation, as part of the U.S. Department of Justice Attorney General’s Honors Program, Ms. Callahan served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph E. McGuire, Administrative Law Judge, Office of the Chief Administrative Hearing Officer, Executive Office for Immigration Review. Ms. Callahan is a member of the bars of the District of Columbia and the state of Maryland (inactive) and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
